Selection process

Candidates for UPSC Recruitment 2024 will undergo a selection process comprising a written examination followed by an SSB test or interview for the final selection.


A fixed stipend of Rs 56,100 per month is provided for cadet training, along with other allowances.

Application fee of UPSC Recruitment 2024

  • Candidates, except for female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), must pay a fee of Rs. 200.
  • The fee can be paid through various modes: cash deposit in any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI), online payment using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card, UPI Payment, or internet banking facility of any Bank.
  • Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are exempt from paying any fee.
  • OBC candidates do not qualify for fee exemption and must pay the full prescribed fee.
