Eligibly Criteria of SSC JHT Recruitment 2024

Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.09.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 30.06.1994 and not later than 01.07.2003. Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

– Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English/English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
OR
– Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level and recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Senior Hindi Translator– Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English/ English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
– Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English/ with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
OR
– Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
AND

  • Search for the link ‘Junior Translator Examination’ and click on it.
  • You will see a prompt ‘Login to Apply for the Examination’. Click ‘OK’.
  • You will be redirected back to the SSC homepage, where you will find the Login section. If you are a new user or haven’t registered your account, click on ‘Register Now’ and enter all your details on the next page to generate your registration number and password. Otherwise, log in with your pre-registered details.
  • Carefully fill out the Application/Registration form. Ensure all the details are correct.
