Indian army recruitment 2024 age limit
(i) For SSC(Tech)- 64 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 35 Women: Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years old as of 01 April 2025 (born between 02 April 1998 and 01 April 2005, both days inclusive).
(ii) For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only: SSCW (Non Tech) [Non UPSC] and SSCW (Tech): Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01 April 2025.
Qualification of Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualifications for Regular Candidates:
Candidates eligible to apply must have completed the requisite Engineering Degree course or be in the final year of an Engineering Degree course. Those in their final year should provide proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 April 2025. Additionally, they must produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the commencement of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA). Candidates failing to produce the required degree certificate within this period will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis to recover training costs at PCTA, along with stipends, pay, and allowances paid during the training period.
Educational Qualifications for Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness:
(i) SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC): Graduation in any Discipline.
(ii) SSCW (Tech): B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream.
